Members of the project, along with the community cleared the land for the pump track designers to visit and get designs for the track. We are working with Clark & Kent Contractors to design a state-of-the-art pump track that will be both aesthetically pleasing and super fun to ride.
Prior to the clearing session, we met with Helen Nicholas from Gower Unearthed and the Bishops Wood site warden Karen Jones to gain ecological and historical knowledge of the site to ensure no wildlife is being harmed in the making of the facility.

We have been working hard behind the scenes to put together a crowdfunding page to raise money for designs and planning preparation.
We launched the Spacehive crowdfunding page with the aim to raise £2500 for planning and design costs.
We had donations from Swansea Council, Days Motor Group, Lyndon Jones, HM Brickwork, Clyne int./ext. and Guts Surf Shop.
Also, we had 60 individual donations from the community and at a financially difficult time, this shows the fantastic community support we have for the project.
A young member of our community called Laurie decided to raise money for the project by going around the Pump Track in Gorseinon 100 times for a Sponsor Challenge where he raised a fantastic £200!
We absolutely smashed the goal of raising £2500 by totalling at just over £4000!
